2003 Shiraz: $35

Canberra has become known for Rhone-style Shiraz and this is no exception. Deep ruby colour and black pepper aromas lead into a lively rich palate with spicy oak and soft tannins. This wine was fermented and matured in French and American oak barriques for one year. It has now had 5 years bottle maturation and is now beautifully soft and well integrated.
